Andrew Speer, Principal of Atlas CRE Capital, has more than 20 years of experience in commercial mortgage transactions from both the credit and production sides of the business. Andrew has served as VP of Production and VP of Underwriting among five of the nation’s top commercial real estate firms, including Newmark Knight Frank, Jones Lange LaSalle, Capital One, Lument, and Arbor. Over the course of his career, Andrew has closed deals in excess of $10 Billion in financing.

Beginning in 2002, Mr. Speer worked in multifamily underwriting and credit under Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac agency platforms, first at Arbor for one year, and then transitioned to Lument for five years where he became a Senior Underwriter, followed by nine years employed at Capital One. Following Capital One, Mr. Speer was employed by Newmark and JLL as VP of Production and was responsible for multifamily mortgage production including structuring, information flow, timeline management, and communication among borrowers, engineers, appraisers, underwriters, closers, attorneys, and brokers.

Today, Mr. Speer owns and operates Atlas, a full-service mortgage brokerage covering all CRE asset types and all loan types, nationwide. Based in Austin, TX, Atlas has a Texas presence and a national outreach. When you work with Atlas, you are leveraging all of the connections and experience brought during Mr. Speer's career.

Marigny Gaffney is responsible for loan originations at Atlas CRE Capital. She has over a decade of commercial real estate experience. Marigny started her real estate career with the CBRE Multifamily Investment Sales Team in Atlanta. Following CBRE she was a member of the Debt Advisory team at Sweetwater Capital where her focus was underwriting and structuring financing solutions for commercial properties with an emphasis on multifamily communities.

As an originator at Atlas, Marigny helps clients with debt placement for commercial assets nationwide, with a focus on the Gulf South region. Through relationships with banks, credit unions, private lenders, debt funds, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, and CMBS lenders the Atlas team can provide clients with a wide range of options and solutions for their financing needs.

Marigny is a graduate of The University of Georgia and a native of New Orleans which is where she is permanently based.

Jeff Wilhelm is responsible for loan originations at Atlas CRE Capital. Jeff started his career with Wells Fargo’s Commercial Real Estate Banking team in Dallas. Following his time at Wells Fargo, Jeff relocated to Houston to join Amerant Bank as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate where he produced a $150MM+ CRE loan portfolio consisting of industrial, medical office, multifamily, retail, self-storage, and traditional office properties throughout the state of Texas.

As an originator at Atlas, Jeff helps clients with debt placement for commercial assets nationwide, with a focus on the Southeast region. Through relationships with banks, credit unions, private lenders, debt funds, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, and CMBS lenders the Atlas team can provide clients with a wide range of options and solutions for their financing needs.

Jeff graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Finance and is based in Houston, TX.

Reginald Armstrong is a highly experienced professional in finance negotiations and dealmaking, with decades of expertise. A bootstrapping go-getter, Mr. Armstrong has a wealth of knowledge shaped by real-world experience. Mr. Armstrong honorably served in the U.S. Navy in 1981. He transitioned to automotive sales/management where he excelled as Sales Manager, F&I Manager, and luxury presenter at the NYC Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center. He then moved to Wall Street in the mid-90s as a Series 7/63 broker specializing in equities and private placements. In 2000, he made his entrée into the real estate finance field, brokering non-commercial and commercial debt. His role as an independent consultant for investors seeking finance further solidified his reputation as a long-term negotiator and closer.

At Atlas, Reginald helps spearhead debt placement for commercial assets nationwide, with a focus on the Greater NY area, Northeast, and Eastern Seaboard. Mr. Armstrong brings passion to musical genres, sports, and insightful discussions. With an in-depth understanding of capital markets, CRE finance structure, and market conditions, Mr. Armstrong prides himself on delivering a seamless experience for serious CRE General Partners (GPs). His no-nonsense approach, coupled with strong communication and listening skills, and his ability to understand sponsors' deal scenarios, expectations, objectives, and timelines, ensures the perfect match between cooperative and compliant sponsors and lenders.
